Projects are currently available for undergraduate and graduate students to study:
- The circuits that regulate fertility Specific projects will investigate communication within the circuits that regulate the activity of the gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neurons. Techniques used include electrophysiology, calcium imaging and immunohistochemistry. - The neurophysiology of the central circadian clock Projects will examine the function of specific neuronal population within the suprachiasmatic nucleus, a small region of the hypothalamus where the central circadian clock is located. Techniques used include electrophsyiology and calcium imaging Please contact Richard Piet rpiet(a)kent.edu |
